Informational sessions at the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (African Commission)

The Centre for Human Rights presents information sessions on state reporting on the Maputo Protocol. These sessions are presented during public, plenary sessions of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (African Commission) in collaboration with the Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Women in Africa.. The primary objective of the side session is to popularise the Guidelines on State Reporting under the Women’s Rights Protocol.  This will ensure that state parties become not only familiar with but also adhere to these Guidelines when reporting under the Maputo Protocol.
