Centre for Human Rights

The Centre for Human Rights, based at the Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria, is both an academic department and a non-governmental organization.

Woman's Rights unit

The Woman's Rights unit was established in 1993 primarily to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life and the status of women (and the girl child) in Africa.

The African Commission

The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (African Commission), inaugurated in November 1987 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, consists of 11 members elected by the African Union Assembly.
